Madison, Indiana has:
The Regatta.
Is located on The Ohio River Scenic Byway.
Has a beautiful river front.
A quaint downtown.
A state park with great camping facilities.
A Trolley company.
Close proximity to major urban areas.
A casino in close proximity.
A small liberal arts college, Hanover.
Some nice summer festivals.
Nice parades.
Friday night entertainment in the warmer months downtown.
Bed & breakfasts.
Madison Indiana is a GREAT place for motorcycle enthusiasts to visit. It has great country roads, the Ohio Scenic Byway and some nice places to stop and eat and rest at the river. This market is good to target for the warmer months. Bikers love Madison, Indiana.
Madison is a wonderful place for boaters and bikers. The things they like are already a natural resource.
The New York Times says that a local candy store, Mundts, is one of the 1000 places to see before you die.
Winter attractions are going to be more difficult to develop in Madison, Indiana for tourism.
